Naylors’ Building Consultancy team has completed a refurbishment project at The Stamp Exchange in central Newcastle on behalf of the North East England Chamber of Commerce.
The building, which is located on Westgate Road close to the Central Station, has undergone the refurbishment to enhance the specification of a number of office suites which are currently available to let.
In addition to redecoration works, new glazed meeting rooms were installed, as well as flat panel LED light fittings to provide a higher standard and more energy efficient form of lighting.
The building’s reception area has also been significantly upgraded, providing much improved space for the building’s occupiers and visitors.
David Straughan, associate director at Naylors said: “The Stamp Exchange is a prominent and well-known building in the heart of Newcastle. The property’s central location and listed façade presented a logistical challenge. However we have undertaken a number of similar projects in recent years and have been able to oversee a successful refurbishment.”
Throughout the project Naylors utilised 3D technology to enable accurate measurement of the internal areas and a 3D scan is being used by the letting agents to help illustrate the completed refurbishment to prospective tenants.
